🤩Meet Rocky!🤩


 

Rocky is a sweet 5-year-old boy who was recently rescued from a shelter after being found as a stray.

He came into the shelter infested with ticks and was very skinny/malnourished. He is recovering after monthly flea/tick medications and adequate nutrition. Bloodwork from the shelter initially showed anemia that he has since recovered and returned to normal levels. 

He had a bad tooth removed and during x-rays it was discovered that the lower left jaw appeared to also have a fracture, but appears to be healing well and developing a boney callus. Rocky is eating well and gaining weight and luckily surgery is not needed. 

He is currently dealing with an ear infection, skin issues, and an upset stomach—but he’s already on the road to recovery thanks to a visit to the vet and some antibiotics.

Though a bit nervous at first (understandably so), Rocky is friendly and eager to feel safe and loved. He’s now heading to a foster home where he’ll have the chance to rest, heal, and decompress.
