Hi! My name is Sophie, and I’m a six-year-old fawn French Bulldog with a heart as big as my personality. I’m a solid little lady at 32 pounds, and I’m looking for a forever home where I can be loved, snuggled, and maybe even sneak under the covers with you at bedtime.

I was surrendered by my previous family because they were moving and worried I might bark too much in a high-traffic environment. But here’s the truth: while I lived in a home with two other dogs and used a doggie door, I’ve been with my foster family for four weeks now, and they say I’ve acclimated beautifully. They have visitors coming and going, and I rarely bark—most of the time, if I do, it’s just because my foster sister starts it first!

Speaking of my foster sister, we get along just fine. She’s a bit of a bossy only child, so occasionally, I have to let her know when enough is enough, but overall, I’m dog-friendly and even go on pack walks twice a week with a big group of dogs—and I love it! I also walk great on a leash and enjoy getting outside.

I’m potty trained and will go to the door when I need to go outside. I sleep in bed, cuddled under the covers, and when I’m not snuggled up, I love to chew on plush toys (though I have a habit of making sure the stuffing ends up everywhere—oops!). When my foster family leaves, I settle nicely in my crate.

I do have a few quirks: If I get anxious or stressed (like at the vet), I tend to drool. Reflections and shadows? Oh, I take those very seriously and might need to let them know who’s boss! Since my foster mom works from home, I haven’t spent much time alone, so my ideal family would be home often—whether retired or just around enough to give me the love and attention I thrive on.

I’m fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed, so I’m ready to go! My foster family doesn’t know how I’d do with small kids or cats, so a home with adults or older children might be best.

My foster parents have completely fallen for me, and they say I’m an absolute joy to have around. If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal, and slightly silly little girl to fill your home with love, I might just be the perfect match for you.

Could I be your new best friend? Apply to adopt me today!
